Sweet Escape in Small City, Sukabumi

Escape is one of reason why someone do travels. Not only about go somewhere but also find a new place that no one know your name.

Orait! This term is the hardest and stressful term in my study, why? because of this term will be my last semester (amin), now I'm on progress to finish my thesis its actually not too hard but need to be patient for through the 'phase'. Ehhhmmm, i wouldn't tell you about my problem then (LOL) so lets talking about my sweet escape.

Now I will tell you about one of city in West Java, it is called SUKABUMI, it is such a lovely place, its crowded but no traffic jam!!! That is nice! Tito said that Sukabumi is like Bandung on 70's and I'm agree! The first day of my trip was so so but not bad, I have a sightseeing in Sukabumi city, I'm driving in the night and see that the city was so small or maybe narrow because I easily remember every single corner that I've been through. And at last i decide to eat something good its called "Sekoteng Asli Singapore" actually I was so LOL of this name of snack food but lemme try!vHHHHH and here's the ooooooooooooooooooowsemmmmmm 'cemilan'

This was damn nice! and it just Rp. 10.000 AJAH!!! HHHH

Next day! Its rainy day, hoaammmm feels like better under the blanket. But..... come on I'm in Sukabumi and why have to spend my time for sleep? So I finally decided to go with power ranger mode: on. 

First I go to Situ Gunung (Kabupaten Sukabumi), Situ Gunung is part of Gede Pangrango National Park, this place is one of conservation area in GPNP ot TNGGP .I go with a romantic drizzle (but I still hate it LOL), The entrance ticket of this destination only Rp. 10.000/ person in weekday and Rp. 15.000/ person for weekend. I don't wanna talk too much about this place, just let see the picts.

NEXT! The Second Place is time to EAT! We need food for our next destination LOL. Sukabumi also have a community where Chinese (as always) doing their talent, yap! Dim Sum! I love dim sum so bad! And its my pleasure to eat a lot of those stuff hihihihi... We go to the city and finally we found the nice dim sum but unfortunately hunger just make me forget what the name of this place hahaha. My bad!!!

This was soooooo great! 8/10 for this dim sum. The price quite cheap only Rp. 13.000- Rp. 15.000 per portion.

Feel full, and feeling fat after 4 portion of dim sum also After getting crazy driving in the middle of the rain, (ehmm actually I'm rarely driving but when driving I drive in the intercity traffic lane and its such a life achievement thx to Tito for let me driving and gave me all of his car and also God for save our life perfectly  LOL). I continue the trip and my next destination is SALABINTANA! This is my favorite destination for today! It was damn nice! And the view is Gede and Pangrango Mt. Sooooooo COOL!! I'm gonna cry coz too happy! hahahaha.

And finally the end of the day we visit the coffee shop in Salabintana area, The name is "Kopi Beunta" The place is quite gaul for Sukabumi, the coffee was nice, and also the cake, the price is affordable Rp.5000- Rp. 30.000 for beverage, Rp. 10.000- Rp. 40.000 for food, and Rp. 2.000- Rp. 15.000 for cookies and cake. The service was good the waiters really nice. Over all about 7/10 for the point hehehehe.

 

I Only take the coffee, cookie, and the interior. My Bad for angle of the picts hahahaha.

Lets hunt the Golden Sunrise in Dieng Pleteau.

I'm sorry for (very) late post because I'm quite busy :p.

Alright this part I would like to tell about how awesome my last sunrise hunting in Dieng. We have to get up early morning around 4 A.M and brace your self and get freeze!! HAHAHAHAHA.

Today we start our day for hunt the sunrise in "Gunung Sikunir" we go with a motor bike that we rent in the first day, the condition of the street when we go to Sikunir was pretty dark with no electricity along the way, so be careful !!! It only takes 15 minutes from our home stay to Sikunir and definitely you have to hiking until the top of Sikunir but don't worry because it takes 30-40 minutes to the top but if you often to hiking maybe you will reach it only 15-20 minutes. At that day unfortunately the weather was not too good, cloudy and drizzle we feel it from home stay but we just through that early morning hopefully we still able to see.

BUT............

We just see nothing, misty, misty, and misty. I thought it would be better at 6 or 7 A.M and it was not. So we decided to go back to home stay. But if you wanna see the best picture maybe you can see it in TRIPADVISOR or another source. 

So, next destination is........................... CANDI ARJUNA. 

Candi Arjuna is one of Temple in Dieng, the place quite nice and convenience, luckily we visited Dieng in low season so not too crowded. The entrance ticket was included to the first ticket that I told you before at Freezing in Dieng Pleteau . So you should not pay for the entrance ticket.

There is a wells in the left and right. Every August or Sura in the Javanese calendar,This place used for held mass "Ruwatan" procession (It is kind of cut the dreadlocks child off, it was special phenomenon so find it out on google :p ).

Still on Arjuna Temple Complex we found something nice inside..HAHAHAHAHAHA Here it is...

This is actually a grassland and no one there, so we just got something picture wakakakak..

And this is the cutest lamb that I ever see, usually u will hard to see this kind of lamb, I don't know wat the name of that kind :p

After that short journey we decided to go to view point of Dieng, we can see village view from there that was nice and we enjoy coffee and tea in one of great friendly and cheap "warung". Sun goes down and the trip is end because tomorrow we will continue our trip to KARIMUN JAWA ISLAND!! Wait the stories fellas~~~~~~

Try your "NetherIndo" taste in BLOEMEN Kedai Rumah, Bandung

Bandung always famous because of the awesome food and drink, you can get what you looking for or something that you never try before, food is equally important, and many cafes, resto, warung, (or whatever) definitely know how to serve up brilliant meal.
Now I will tell you one of my favorite place to have a brunch or tea time but actually it would be OK if you want to lunch or even dinner. The resto named "Bloemen Kedai Rumah".

The first impression of this resto is so "Holland-taste" the building and even the furniture and also the environment bring me to Netherlands-era in 19 century of Bandung city.

The range price start from Rp. 10.000 ($1) - Rp. 80.000 ($8) and they have a reasonable price definitely, and here the food and beverage that ordered by me.

Potato lovers? Try this!!! It was totally great! BAKED POTATO!! The potatoes just melt in my mouth and covered by best cheese sauce. awwwwww....

And the fresh MOJITO MINT.

I ordered those stuff because I just have a meal in another place and just wanna chill out (tea time) in the middle of a hectic working day. But if you wanna try another food that would be great especially the Lamb Steak and another steak. 

This corner is the best space for me, you can also use that piano anyway. ;)

Over all this restaurant was great I LOVE IT! So do not be hesitate to try this 'KEDAI'.

Hmmm. where should I start? 

Ah... ya! Registration! After registration in the Office we start the REAL JOURNEY. We just go straght t the point and just direct face the crater and how excited I am even I had a lot of journey before but the think that you must know is when you never did it for a long time and when you do it again it feels like you reborn and lucky that finally you feel that moment again.

Feel free, truly freedom with inner peace. I walking and prepare my phone for taking a picture but Eja walking far away from me, but never mind Tito still with me and looks He enjoy this trip in every single step we had

After we had a rest for a while we continue the track, and feel damn hungry! RICE RICEEE WHEREE!!! But on the way to the camp shelter we had a problem! Raining was come and as ALWAYS I had a problem with that shit condition as usually, but I tried to be fine but actually when the misty come everything gonna bad

We just wrong when we decide for did not make a tent first here the bad things come

Well, raining is come and everything bad for me, everythings wet, everything was cold, and hard t breath as always , and I checked my stuffs just prepare my sleep 'equipment; and hell no I was forget bring my sleep pants, feel bad, had no idea for that, how fool I am !!!

But, Tito told me "I had 2! Long and short and u can wear the long one" you know! SHOCK! And I just make him sure that he will gave it to me, and it was really happen! I had bad (actually not too bad) condition here. But, I still tried for make it better even nothings better . And I just change everything and had a sleep for a while and control my self and breath because this is our first trip together and I don't wanna make it bad. I got really better with the dry and warm pant that Tito gave. 

Night finally come and (I don't know who) decide to cook inside the tent , kind of trauma because i had experience about cook near a tent wkwkwkw. Alright let me tell you what we had in this trip

We face the cold night with a cold feeling, I can't think or remember what I was doing in that time, I just  know that I was hard to sleep and breath. 

I just waiting the sun woke up and in REALLY EARLY MORNING Eja wake me up for see the sunrise and when I woke up and see the sun everything has change to better thing.Here's the sun!

 After got the sunrise we back to the camp well might be someone wonder where is Tito? Tito was sleep! He just ignore us to see sunrise together, He told me that he tired and sleepy so I just let him enjoy his selfie time hehehe. Well, we just move faster then before just in case would be raining again so we just cook, eat, and packing.

Ya ya ya, move faster faster! And after everything has done we finally BACK! Take a steps with another energy. And here our CILEPEUNG TIME in the middle of tracking. OK, actually reason why we take a picture here is because I wanna had some pictures of me wear my lovely Jacket that Ibu gave to me, and suddenly Tito say "ME TOO! I wanna take a picture with my new BERGHAUS Jacket"  And here we are......

I took this pict because for make Ibu happy that I wear it and looks awesome with The North Face with Primaloft Tech HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA fufufufu...

And here the damn moment, I laugh here accidentally because Tito just did something fool and say to camera "YEUH YEUH! URANG GE JAKET ANYAR BERGHAUS YEUH TAH PAMER SAKALIAN DITUNJUK BRAND NA" Well, let God and Indonesia ppls who understan sundanese who knows this sentence 

After that we continue the track and finally we met the lovely car that bring us to PAPANDAYAN MOUNTAIN. I really enjoy this trip hope it not the last. Hope we have another 'Silent Trip'. Well, Thx for always bring me to the real Lysa Ojol ! Another things is, we closed the trip with relax at Hot Spring in Cipanas, Garut, such as pleasure moment with them! I love u so much guys!
