Sweet Escape in Small City, Sukabumi

Escape is one of reason why someone do travels. Not only about go somewhere but also find a new place that no one know your name.

Orait! This term is the hardest and stressful term in my study, why? because of this term will be my last semester (amin), now I'm on progress to finish my thesis its actually not too hard but need to be patient for through the 'phase'. Ehhhmmm, i wouldn't tell you about my problem then (LOL) so lets talking about my sweet escape.

Now I will tell you about one of city in West Java, it is called SUKABUMI, it is such a lovely place, its crowded but no traffic jam!!! That is nice! Tito said that Sukabumi is like Bandung on 70's and I'm agree! The first day of my trip was so so but not bad, I have a sightseeing in Sukabumi city, I'm driving in the night and see that the city was so small or maybe narrow because I easily remember every single corner that I've been through. And at last i decide to eat something good its called "Sekoteng Asli Singapore" actually I was so LOL of this name of snack food but lemme try!vHHHHH and here's the ooooooooooooooooooowsemmmmmm 'cemilan'

This was damn nice! and it just Rp. 10.000 AJAH!!! HHHH

Next day! Its rainy day, hoaammmm feels like better under the blanket. But..... come on I'm in Sukabumi and why have to spend my time for sleep? So I finally decided to go with power ranger mode: on. 

First I go to Situ Gunung (Kabupaten Sukabumi), Situ Gunung is part of Gede Pangrango National Park, this place is one of conservation area in GPNP ot TNGGP .I go with a romantic drizzle (but I still hate it LOL), The entrance ticket of this destination only Rp. 10.000/ person in weekday and Rp. 15.000/ person for weekend. I don't wanna talk too much about this place, just let see the picts.

NEXT! The Second Place is time to EAT! We need food for our next destination LOL. Sukabumi also have a community where Chinese (as always) doing their talent, yap! Dim Sum! I love dim sum so bad! And its my pleasure to eat a lot of those stuff hihihihi... We go to the city and finally we found the nice dim sum but unfortunately hunger just make me forget what the name of this place hahaha. My bad!!!

This was soooooo great! 8/10 for this dim sum. The price quite cheap only Rp. 13.000- Rp. 15.000 per portion.

Feel full, and feeling fat after 4 portion of dim sum also After getting crazy driving in the middle of the rain, (ehmm actually I'm rarely driving but when driving I drive in the intercity traffic lane and its such a life achievement thx to Tito for let me driving and gave me all of his car and also God for save our life perfectly  LOL). I continue the trip and my next destination is SALABINTANA! This is my favorite destination for today! It was damn nice! And the view is Gede and Pangrango Mt. Sooooooo COOL!! I'm gonna cry coz too happy! hahahaha.

And finally the end of the day we visit the coffee shop in Salabintana area, The name is "Kopi Beunta" The place is quite gaul for Sukabumi, the coffee was nice, and also the cake, the price is affordable Rp.5000- Rp. 30.000 for beverage, Rp. 10.000- Rp. 40.000 for food, and Rp. 2.000- Rp. 15.000 for cookies and cake. The service was good the waiters really nice. Over all about 7/10 for the point hehehehe.

 

I Only take the coffee, cookie, and the interior. My Bad for angle of the picts hahahaha.

Try your "NetherIndo" taste in BLOEMEN Kedai Rumah, Bandung

Bandung always famous because of the awesome food and drink, you can get what you looking for or something that you never try before, food is equally important, and many cafes, resto, warung, (or whatever) definitely know how to serve up brilliant meal.
Now I will tell you one of my favorite place to have a brunch or tea time but actually it would be OK if you want to lunch or even dinner. The resto named "Bloemen Kedai Rumah".

The first impression of this resto is so "Holland-taste" the building and even the furniture and also the environment bring me to Netherlands-era in 19 century of Bandung city.

The range price start from Rp. 10.000 ($1) - Rp. 80.000 ($8) and they have a reasonable price definitely, and here the food and beverage that ordered by me.

Potato lovers? Try this!!! It was totally great! BAKED POTATO!! The potatoes just melt in my mouth and covered by best cheese sauce. awwwwww....

And the fresh MOJITO MINT.

I ordered those stuff because I just have a meal in another place and just wanna chill out (tea time) in the middle of a hectic working day. But if you wanna try another food that would be great especially the Lamb Steak and another steak. 

This corner is the best space for me, you can also use that piano anyway. ;)

Over all this restaurant was great I LOVE IT! So do not be hesitate to try this 'KEDAI'.

Freezing in Dieng Pleteau

Huoooo finally after finished my study in last semester I'm HOME!!! Well this trip I go with someone crazy that I ever told you before in last post in last trip to PAPANDAYAN Mt. yap Tito Taufik

Its kind of pops up in our head to visit this awesome place where peace will be everlasting  *Lebay*. But, let me tell you first about Dieng.

Dieng Plateau is a marshy plateau that forms the floor of a caldera complex on the Dieng Volcanic Complex near Wonosobo, Central Java, Indonesia. Referred to as "Dieng" by Indonesians, it sits at 2,000 metres (6,600 ft) above sea level, far from major population centres. The name "Dieng" comes from Di Hyang which means "Abode of the Gods". Dieng is truly adode of the Gods because you will feel there is no problem, feel safe, feel so comfortable, and it was damn full of tranquility INDEED!

Ok, We start my journey from Bandung, We go to Cicaheum Terminal then take a bus to Wonosobo its take cost about Rp. 70.000 and tooks 10 hours journey wkwkwkwk quite long that the reason why we go on the night approximately bus will off on 19.00 W.I.B. We just took a seat then SLEEP until someone wake me up, and just realize we just the only one passenger in that bus 

The driver ask us where we gonna go and Tito told him just drop we off on Plaza Wonosobo. Then 05.00 AM we arrived in darkness day *Lebay again* hahaha. Oke feel so damn hungry and we found a love Gudeg in the front of Plaza that was the best Gudeg that I ever had. Unfortunately i forget took the picture of the warung but if I'm not wrong the name is GUDEG BU JINAH *definitely strange ya hahaha*. But if u get off in Plaza Wonosobo make sure u see them, its quite crowded even in a really early morning.

Alright, lets continue the journey after had a great meal in early morning I took a micro bus to Dieng here the bus.

It's took 1 hour and we get off in the terminal of Dieng peoples call it "Homestay BU Djono" a lot of people stay there, but we are not! HAHAHA Tito had another idea to stay and we stay in HOME STAY PUSPA INDAH that was great and also nice, water heater, wi-fi, so really clean and the important things is excellent services. The housekeeper was nice she just help a lot of things especially when I need quick laundry and also perfectly clean!

Ok, after arrived, we just get in the bed and took a nap. Well, the weather was perfectly nice for sleep hahahaha. And after 12.00 PM we woke up and take a shower then ask the housekeeper where we can rent a motor bike. And she gave us what we need and we got the motorbike its only Rp. 150.000 for 2 days. And we start our journey in Dieng. First destination is Sikidang Crater (Kawah Sikidang) the weather not too good, drizzle all day long.

Anyway now its kind of new regulation that we have to pay Rp. 18.000 for the entrance ticket of all destination in Dieng. So keep the ticket carefully!!!

Yap, the weather not too good so we go back to the parking area where a lot of warung there. We order some nice stuff there. The legend of Potato Wedges and Purwaceng.

I really love it!!! Its only Rp. 5000 MUST TRY!!!!

And this is purwaceng, not to special for me and actually bandrek from Bandung was better then this one, a glass of purwaceng Rp.10.000

After that we go to the caldera people called Telaga Warna. That was nice if the sun shine perfectly shining. Ah ya! We have to pay extra Rp. 5000 for get in.

After that we decided to back to he homestay because its gonna be heavy raining. And we think where we gonna go because its still 15.00, and we go to Wonosobo HAHAHAHA it was sudden planning!!!

So, when the rain getting benign we go with the CRAZY MISTY!!! And without helmet -,-

at 18.00 we decide for stop to the restaurant that sold Mie Ongklok, it was my favorite food in Dieng after the potato but unfortunately Tito can't ate it because he has a allergic of shrimp (the sauce of the noodles mixed with shrimp). And after that we continue our journey to find the point of City, and we just realize how small Wonosobo hahahha. And we just hard to find any supermarket. And we asked someone where the supermarket and someone told us there is a supermarket named RITA and beside it there is Mickey Mouse HAHAHAHAAHAHAH WHAT THE FU THE NAME OF THE SUPER MARKET HAHAHHAAHHAHA. Well we didn't go to that place and finally we decided to bought some stuff in Indomaret which is normal! hahaha

After that we found a coffe and bread shop that sold WEDANG RONDE and SKOTENG, I told Tito direclty "STOP!!! Ada wedang ronde! Gambarnya bagus! Mau" and he stop the parking wkakakakak.

its only Rp. 12.000 SO damn cheap!!!!

Left: Wedang Ronde, Right: Skoteng. That was totally strange because they put EMPING in to those stuff. Its different with usually wedang or skoteng. But its so cheap only Rp. 6000 and not bad!!

Well, That stuffs closed our first day journey. And we back to Dieng with freeze driving in the night! So crazy trip and we take a rest directly because the second day we have to wake up really early morning to hunt the sunrise!!!!

Awesome food for Your Meal!! NASI AYAM KEDEWATAN, UBUD, BALI

Finally I’m back to Ubud, such a lovely place to stay. Anyway In this trip I’m not alone my Thai friend will be join me to Enjoy Ubud. Even I always back and stay in Ubud for a long time this is my first time eat Nasi Kedewatan in Jalan Kedewatan, I was try the other one in Jalan Made Lebah its kind of traditional ‘warung’ but for me this Warung so lovely and unbelievable.

OK! Me and My friends go to Nasi Ayam Kedewatan Ibu Mangku. The first time I arrived I thought this restaurant is damn expensive, because I saw the interior and the ornament inside the restaurant and another thing is there is no price info in the menu, “OK, I was here then. Just order”. When the food come I actually so satisfied with the food and also the beverage ENAK SEKALI !!! AROYYY MAK MAK !!!

Here's the treasure NASI AYAM KEDEWATAN!! Willy told me that this is the original one in Bali. There's nothing better then Ibu Mangku, but actually everything is good and also delicious for me as well. HAHAHAHAHA.

AND HERE'S THE FOOD TRAVELER !!!

And after enjoy the meal and the atmosphere in this restaurant here I come Bill !!! And you know what I’m surprised that the bill not more than 40.000 IDR/ person, Nasi Ayam Kedewatan only 20.000 IDR!! WHATTTT!!! How can??? Hahahahaha.. Actually I’m prepare 100.000 IDR for my meal for that lunch and kind of worth then.

After having a meal We seen kind of snack, peanut, mochi, chips, ect. And I bought 1 pcs Bali Peanut with no brand. And you know that peanut is the best Bali Peanut that I ever ate! I tried every peanut in Bali (I’m freaky peanut girl, btw :p) and it was awesome I just paid 10.000 IDR for super delicious, legit, nice, crunchy, wonderful peanut!!! Lucky I am. HAHAHA

Last! I recommend you for come here if u visit Ubud, Nasi Kedewatan Ibu Mangku not famous as Bebek Bengil (Dirty Duck) or Warung Nuri’s in Ubud but trust me this restaurant will satisfied your meal.
